Welcome!
My name is Sara, I'm an actress and I work inside special costumes to bring life to peculiar characters.I am the soul of these characters, I give them character and movement.
What is my peculiarity?: I am very small and proportined, and this makes me an ideal actress to perform special creatures and childish roles ...
My training in both drama and in body language, dance and yoga allows me to give these characters not only movement, but also a specific personality.

BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE
I have worked with latex attached to my whole body, fiberglass covers, foam, animatronics, theatre mask, no vision...

AN EXTRACT FROM THE ARTEM WEB PAGE THAT SPEAKS ABOUT MY WORK
Effect type/Special costumes: PROJECT | Peperliza | Ponti Cactus

Director, Peter Truckel, wanted a cartoon style suit for a performer to wear. The suit had to represent a small cute cactus standing in a flowerpot.(…). The suit was made to fit Spanish dancer and acrobat Sara Rosa, who attended our workshops for a test fitting. (…)Sara really brought the suit to life.  The cactus proved to be quite a character getting up to all sorts on the window ledge.

Commercials: PROJECT | Danone | Cola Cao
Our brief was to design and build an Animatronic Costume based on an existing graphic character used on packaging and posters. They wanted Cola Cao to have plenty of character and, therefore, needed an expressive face.  The actor also had to be able to move energetically within the costume.
We designed a suit to be worn by a small performer who has experience as a dancer and gymnast. This involved lifecasting her, sculpting the character, moulding all the parts and casting them in foam latex.
The head had radio controlled animatronic functions facilitating eye movement and the mouth opening, closing and smiling.  We also made brows/antenna which could move to enhance expression. The whole thing and our crew travelled to Barcelona for the shoot.
